JH Fralin and Son
The Fralins have been builders in Virginia since 1931, when JH Fralin founded the family firm, JH Fralin and Son. For more than 50 years, it built churches, schools, hospitals, banks, nursing homes, and university buildings across the state.
JF Construction Group
The company today, based in Roanoke and owned by Jonathan Fralin, the fourth generation, delivers commercial construction, custom homes, and large remodels and additions.

Jonathan A. Fralin is the founder, owner and operator of JF Construction Group. He entered the construction industry upon graduating from Virginia Tech in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Business, majoring in business management and minoring in business leadership. After his time in Blacksburg, he spent eight years working for a large national homebuilder in Richmond, Virginia.
With a strong foundation in business management, a passion for building, and a desire to return to the Roanoke Valley, he founded JF Construction Group LLC in 2019 and moved back to the area. Through his leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, JF Construction Group has rapidly grown into a respected construction firm that works in both the commercial and residential spaces.
Today the company takes on commercial construction, custom homes, and large remodels and additions for clients across western and central Virginia.
